My pursuit of the arts, as a friend of mine once said, "It all started with a Christmas Ball". I started painting little Christmas ornaments depicting a winter scene which I sold a various craft venues. I took an oil painting class on a whim and fell in love with the medium. I have been painting in oils since 2002.

since 2005, I have been involved with the Barrhead Art Club and have participated in several of their Art Exhibitions and Sales. In the Fall Art Exhibition and Sale, 2010, my painting "Winter Ice" was chosen as the People's Choice and will be used for all promotional items and advertising in 2011. I have been fortunate to hang my art in local businesses which has resulted in sales of both originals and giclees.

In 2010, I joined the St. Albert Painter's Guild and look forward to participating in their workshops, critiques, and Art Exhibitions and Sales.

"Tranquility" was chosen to promote the Winterscape Art Exhibit and Competition at the Paint Spot in Edmonton, Alberta.

My inspiration is the process of painting. I attempt to get the feeling of the paint along with brushstrokes to emphasis direction and create a mood. My wish is to create a painting that impacts emotionally on the viewer.

My paintings are for sale as an original or giclee (a print done on canvas).
